With honors
A B+ can become an A−.
You earn a guaranteed extra college recommendation letter from Mr. Soltysik. The letter will document the serious vocabulary work you completed and the persistence required to reach perfect scores.
With high honors
A B can become an A−.
You earn a stronger guaranteed extra college recommendation letter. It will emphasize that you mastered both foundational word parts and advanced academic vocabulary beyond the Cum laude standard.
With highest honors
An A− can become an A+.
You earn the strongest guaranteed extra college recommendation letter. Mr. Soltysik will give his most enthusiastic honest endorsement, grounded in your mastery of the course’s most demanding vocabulary challenge.
Grade bonuses do not stack. Cum laude is +3 total, Magna cum laude is +5 total, and Summa cum laude is +7 total.
SUMMA CUM LAUDE
The quiz has exactly 100 questions, and every question is select-all-that-apply. Take it during office hours with Mr. Soltysik. You may retake it as many times as necessary to earn at least 90%.
Begin your attempts in November so you have time to study, retake the quiz, and reach mastery. November is advice—not a deadline or restriction.
EARNED, HONEST, AND SPECIFIC
Every Cum laude, Magna cum laude, and Summa cum laude winner is guaranteed an extra college recommendation letter from Mr. Soltysik. The letter will name the award, explain its requirements, and describe the persistence and vocabulary mastery you demonstrated.
The higher the award, the stronger the letter. Summa cum laude recipients earn Mr. Soltysik’s strongest enthusiastic, honest endorsement because they completed the most demanding standard.
Earn 100% on every Blooket required for your level.
Every higher award includes all lower-level requirements. Your final grade receives only the highest bonus you earn.
